Ford donates money to NDA
A CHARITY has spoken of its 'delight' with its relationship with a Daventry company. The Ford parts distribution centre in Daventry has worked closely with the Northamptonshire Dyslexia Association (NDA) since last year.
While the company, via the Ford of Britain Trust, has donated money to the NDA, the charity has helped raise awareness of dyslexia at the unit, helping Mark O'Callaghan and the human resources team identify the learning problems dyslexic people can have and their strengths.

Money received from the trust has helped the NDA develop its 'dyslexia in a box' materials, which it's representatives take to various events. Ford at Daventry has also printed leaflets and posters for the NDA.
Representatives from the NDA visited Ford on Thursday May 18th to highlight their partnership.
Chairman of the NDA, Caroline Bilbie, said: "We are just delighted with the relationship we have got with this local company. It's been an ongoing development and now we have received this award from the Ford of Britain Trust."
As well as their dyslexia box, the charity provides a helpline and other support services as well as a register of local specialist tutors to work with dyslexic children.
